Art Build: Sunflowers for Earth Quaker Action Team's 100 Mile Walk

I hosted an art build to make these sunflowers for the finale of a 100 mile walk Earth Quaker Action Team (www.eqat.org) did in 2018. This walk was part of EQAT’s Power Local Green Jobs campaign, which pressured PECO to have 20% local solar by the year 2025. It went through PECO's service territory to show the utility the way to a clean energy future with good paying jobs for those who need them most. 

People from 7 years old to 70 years old came to the art build. They experimented, hammered, stapled, taped, and painted, creating their own giant sunflowers for a dramatic end to a long walk for our community and our planet..
